I am at the library...something of a closed book.. If the right reader finds me when they are in the library, you will be pleasantly surprised at what is inside. My reserved exterior masks a caring and generous heart with a somewhat passionate nature. I am honest, straightforward, creative, and when warranted, intensely loyal. I am smart. I think life is a fascinating, mostly joyous journey. I am a fair cook with moments of brilliance, but it is not my favorite thing. I am reasonably good at fixing things. I love children. I love animals. I love a good story. I love the outdoors. I love being in the mountains. I love starry nights in the desert or beach. I love to garden and my favorite activities are, walking, hiking, reading and some traveling thrown in too. I find that my happiest moments are in the outdoors---desert, mountains, near the ocean---and I have a deep and protective love for wilderness and the environment. I am mostly looking for a friend who enjoys the same things I do, who is very independent and who will respect my need for solitude and space as I will respect yours too. Compatibility is a bit of a mystery to me, but some shared interests would be a good place to start. If a loving, committed relationship develops, how wonderful! My children are grown and living on their own, but are still a very important part of my center and my anchor. --I think I'm fairly attractive and my eyes are my best feature. I am blessed with a youthfulness that belies my age. I respect all religious views and Buddhism seems to embody most of my philosophical and spiritual beliefs. Do you pull over to watch a beautiful sunset? Does the night sky fill you with wonder? Do you "...think of the beauty of the way? And the goodness of the wayfarers"? OK...Now If you can see me as I am Trying, failing, trying again, and love me still with all my faults You really are my friend. Don’t what more I can say...
One thing though I would like you between the age of 50-70, then we have something to talk about...Ok?
